Gerald Courage

Deputy Warden

Gerald is a retired former partner of the national law firm Miller Thomson where he practiced as a tax lawyer and served at various times as Chair of the firm (2008-2013), Acting Chief Operating Officer (2019-2021), member of the firm’s compensation committee, National Specialty Group leader for tax and chair of the conflicts committee. Gerald has served in leadership positions at various churches over the years. In addition to being a deputy warden, Gerald serves as a reader, intercessor, chalice bearer and sidesperson at SPSS. His wife, Irene, is a member of the choir. They have three adult children.
