Our main service is the celebration of Holy Communion on Sundays at 10:30.  You can join us In-Person or online through our Live-Stream on our YouTube channel. The global pandemic has changed the way we are worshipping together.  This service features Scripture readings which are reflected upon in the sermon.  Our choir pre-records music for the service, but there are no congregational hymns at this time.  Our multiple organists continue to lead us with classical organ arrangements. Ordination to the Priesthood

We are pleased to announce the College of Bishops has given concurrence for Deacon Michael’s ordination to the priesthood. The service will take place here at SPSS on the Feast of All Saints, November 1st, 2020, at 4:00 pm. Celebrant, the Rt Reverend Kevin Robertson.  Preacher, the Reverend Canon Dr David Neelands. Join us on Zoom for a quiet end-of-day service from the Book of Common Prayer.  Welcoming music from our choir's music recordings begins at 7.55, our Service starts at 8 pm and is followed by a chance to chat at 8.25 pm. The Service features Scripture readings from the Psalms and Gospel, evening Hymns and Canticles, as well as prayers for our world and community. Our mid-week service returns with a simple service of Holy Communion from the Book of Alternative Service.  This is a spoken service, with a sermon that reflects on the Scripture lessons, as well as, Holy Communion. For the moment, we are refraining of Anointing for Healing and the Community Lunch that typically followed the service.  These will be reinstated when it is safe to do so from a public health perspective.

Spiritual author, Henri Nouwen writes that each follower of Jesus must make the personal journey in which they are ‘converted’ from understanding fundraising as a necessary but unpleasant activity to the view that fundraising is as spiritual as giving a sermon, entering a time of prayer, visiting the sick, or feeding the hungry!
