Duncan & Barbara Towe

Barbara and Duncan Towe arrived at our church ten years ago, in 2011.

Duncan has been a stalwart and valuable voice in our choir’s tenor section and is always ready to contribute his construction skills to kids musical stage props or countless other fix-up projects. Barbara has served on a Parish Selection Committee and coordinated the Flower Guild of the parish for about 5 years.

For both Duncan and Barbara, staying loyal to the liturgical tradition they knew and loved brought them to our church and made it home for them.

Having been involved in education in their careers –Duncan was a high school teacher, Barbara an administrator– they found meaning in retirement through church activities.

SPSS remained worth the trip all the way in from Markham where they live –a twenty minute drive with no traffic on Sundays, an hour and a half through rush hour for Thursday night choir practice.
