What could be more celebratory for the approaching season than the sweet, pastoral sound of a flute? How about a full-bodied chorus of fourteen flutists playing nine different sizes of flutes? This Sunday at 4pm, just following SPSS’s children’s children’s musical presentation, Flute Street will be presenting here It’s Christmas on Flute Street. Join them for a delightful journey of carols and some classical standards including Respighi’s Adoration of the Magi, Tchaikovsky’s Waltz of the Flowers and a world premiere Low Flutes version of Corelli’s beloved Christmas Concerto. Tickets are available at the door: $25, $20 seniors/arts workers, $15 students.
