Announcement-Reverend Canon Geoffrey Sangwine

On Sunday, January 18^th the Wardens announced that the Bishop of Toronto, the Right Reverend Andrew Asbil has appointed our Incumbent, the Reverend Canon Geoffrey Sangwine to serve as Sub Dean and Vicar of St James’ Cathedral, starting May 11^th.  Fr. Geoff has served SPSS since August 2016, and in remarking upon the appointment and his time at SPSS, Fr. Geoff said, “it has been a wonderful, often challenging and grace-filled ten years and in many ways, it has prepared me for this next step in ministry which is a huge honour.”
Fr. Geoff’s final Sunday is April 26^th.  In the meantime, the Wardens are working with Bishop Kevin Robertson on next steps for the parish.  We congratulate Fr. Geoff on this appointment and look forward to seeing him in his new role at our Cathedral Church.
