An Update on New Stained Glass Window

In 1996, Sarah Hall was commissioned to design the church’s Saint Cecilia window (Picture below L). Exactly thirty years later, the renowned artist has been put to work on the new project to be installed in the window next to it.

We are very excited to renew a relationship with this internally recognized producer of large scale architectural glass installations.

The design for SPSS, based on a theme of ‘Unity’ from Psalm 133, will be revealed over subsequent postings here as Hall works in her Picton studio and orders the required materials from a glassworks in Germany. Over the next twelve months much work will be done to prepare the design and the window for its ultimate installation. Please stay tuned!
