On Sunday, May 25th, the parish bid a fond farewell to Fr. Abraham Thomas and Interim Music Director, Daniel Webb, at a luncheon after the service.
Fr. Abraham concluded his two years as our Assistant Curate, during which time he proved himself to be a very valued addition to our pastoral team. Abraham was instrumental in organizing several Bible study sessions and, during his time with us, preached numerous sermons and officiated services. He also very ably stepped in to sing bass in the choir when needed. Thank you for all your contributions to our parish, and we wish you all the best in your new parish at Fenlon Falls.
Daniel Webb stepped in as organist and choir director at a very difficult time at our parish. However, with dedication, tact, and amazing skill and musicality, he ensured that Sunday services were supported by wonderful music through his organ playing and his direction of the, albeit smaller, choir. Thank you for all the hard work during your alas short time with us! We wish you all the best for a wonderful summer travelling to the UK with your family and ongoing success at Royal St. George’s College.
