After School Homework Club

A few years ago, some of the churches and organizations in this neighbourhood started meeting to talk about ways we could work together to help the community.

In September 2010, the After-School Program was launched by City Hope, St Andrew’s United Church, Rosedale Presbyterian Church and St Simon’s.

Featuring homework help from trained volunteers (retired teachers and senior students), and an opportunity to take part in the Reaching Out Through Music Program and other arts and recreational activities.

The After-School program runs every school day.
